Unique Content
The search engines hate duplicate content and so do we. We realize that you may be re-posting content that already appears on another website. If you do this, it is critical that the content is edited so that it can easily be distinguished from the original content. In some cases we recommend that your past a unique 3-4 sentence synopsis of the original article followed by a link to that article.
Fresh Content
Relevant articles with useful information are always welcome. News articles and press releases must be current. Adding articles simply to get the benefit of links back to a source site is not allowed.
Compelling Content
We ask all our editors to answer one simple question. Is your content good enough that you would email it to your friends? If not, then do not bother posting it here. All articles should be brief and to the point. We want to ensure the best possible user experience.
External Links
We realize that good content will include links back to one or more source sites. We also realize that it is easy to abuse these links. In most cases articles with more than 5 external links (including image links) or multiple links to the same target page will not be approved.
Images
Authors are encouraged to include relevant images in their articles along with the appropriate image titles and any relevant external links. However, articles with images that are inappropriate or attempt to deceive the visitor in any way will not be approved.
Content Ownership
It is critical that the author owns the content and any images embedded within that content. We realize that most images on the web have no clear ownership and those images can be used. If third parties contest image ownership, the affected images may be removed. The author is directly responsible for any legal action/costs that arise because of illegal image use.
